Atty. Dominador D. Buhain, a renowned Philippine lawyer, chairman of the REX Group of Companies, and a lifelong adventurer, has journeyed to all 81 Philippine provinces and well over 200 countries and territories, amassing rare books, artifacts, and cultural treasures from every corner of the globe. His personal collections reflect his deep love for reading, history, and the richness of diverse cultures, and have become the foundation of several museums in the Philippines that are open to the public.
Among his treasured possessions is a remarkable array of James Dean memorabilia a heartfelt homage to the iconic spirit of the 1950s: bold, free-spirited, and timeless. These pieces evoke an era where rebellion met authenticity and individuality themes that resonate beautifully with the diner’s retro atmosphere.
One of Atty. Buhain’s museums open to the public, located in Marikina City, once housed the very collection that now sets the vibe for James Diner & Café.
